This session will feature Prof. Sari Hanafi from the American University of Beirut, who will present his latest book
“Against Symbolic Liberalism: A Plea for Dialogical Sociology.”
Together with Prof. Ramazan Aras, Prof. Mücahit Bilici, and Dr. Heba Ezzat Raouf, the panel will explore the promises and limits of liberalism and reflect on dialogical sociology as an alternative way of engaging with social theory.
The discussion will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Önder Küçükural.
